About

Celebrating 30 years since the release of their breakthrough album Spiders, Space return to Sheffield as part of their 2026 UK tour, bringing with them a brand-new studio album, Ten Neurotic Fairytales, released September 2026.

The new record sees the band return to the unmistakable sound that made them one of the most distinctive acts of the 1990s—sharp melodies, dark humour and surreal storytelling that dominated Radio 1, Virgin Radio, Top of the Pops, TFI Friday and The Big Breakfast. Long-time fans can expect a set that blends classic hits with fresh material from the new album.

The album and tour artwork has been created in collaboration with Jonny Vegas, drawing inspiration from original models and artwork associated with the band’s early visual identity—reimagined for a new era.

With over 5 million albums sold worldwide, Space boast an incredible catalogue including Spiders, Tin Planet, Suburban Rock and Roll, Attack of the Mutant 50ft Kebab, Give Me Your Future and Music for Pleasure, Music for Pain. Both Spiders and Tin Planet achieved Double Platinum status in the UK, while 90s classic “Female of the Species” remains a defining track of the era.

This show marks a rare chance to see Space in an intimate Sheffield setting, celebrating their legacy while launching the next chapter of the band’s story.

Advance tickets strongly recommended.
