FOLfest Father of Lies + Resistance is Punk+ Fluorescent+guests

Headlining the evening are Father of Lies, serving up their usual blackened crust soundtrack for anyone who’s looked at the state of the world and thought, “Yeah… burn it down.”

Special guests are Stockport’s d-beat anti-heroes Resistance Is Punk, because subtlety died years ago.

Representing Sheffield are the mighty Fluorescent, hauling enough grunge-laden weight to make the walls question their structural integrity.

Opening the ceremony are two solo projects that couldn’t be more different if they tried. Anondred summons chthonic horror through bleak analog synths,  while Man Standing demonstrates that one person with a guitar can still make more noise than an arena full of corporate tribute acts.

Five bands.

No backing tracks.

No industry bullshit.

No £9 pints… well, we can’t promise that last one.
