About
Please note: This ticket grants free entry until 8:30 pm. If you arrive after 8:30 pm, a £4 entry fee applies, payable at the door.
Transmission brings the stark, atmospheric sound of Joy Division to Empire Rochdale, focusing on mood, space and intensity rather than polish.
Expect defining tracks like Love Will Tear Us Apart, Transmission, She's Lost Control, Disorder, Atmosphere, Shadowplay, New Dawn Fades, Isolation, Digital and Dead Souls, all performed with restraint and respect for the originals.
This is an event built around tension and feeling, minimal arrangements, driving basslines and that unmistakable dark pulse that made Joy Division one of the most influential bands of their time.
Followed by a Live DJ
