Straight Up Dire Straits bring the distinctive sound and songwriting of Dire Straits to Empire Rochdale in a focused live tribute.
Expect classics like Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, Money for Nothing, Walk of Life, Tunnel of Love, Brothers in Arms, Private Investigations, So Far Away and Telegraph Road, played with attention to tone, dynamics and musicianship.
This is an event for fans who appreciate tight playing, tasteful guitar work and songs that reward being heard live, faithful to the originals and built around the music rather than theatrics.
