On Saturday 12 December, The Ferret is honoured to host a special all-day live music event celebrating Simon Wright – much-loved musician, friend and longstanding part of The Ferret community.

His friends & bandmates have put together this tribute to Simon, his music and the incredible impact he had on so many people. We hope you’ll join us to remember him the way he’d have wanted – surrounded by friends and great live music.

Over the years, Simon played The Ferret stage with many bands including LEFT, The Cities, Ben & The Believers and more. It was here he discovered new music, met lifelong friends, and even met his wife Kate. He was part of the fabric of this venue and of Preston’s independent music scene – a brilliant musician, a proper funny character, and one of the genuinely good people who made this community so special.
