Teresa Winter / Sam McLoughlin | Small Hours @ Snapes Printworks

Yorkshire based composer and musicologist, Teresa Winter, makes experimental electronic music based around vocals, collage and lo-fi technology. With a PhD thesis on the English composer and electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire, her work exists in conversation with the sonic legacies of modernism and ritual.

Sam A. McLoughlin is an artist and musician based in Todmorden. We have been fans of Sam’s work for decades at this stage under various monikers including Samandtheplants and more recently Tongues Of Light. Sam is a member of the Folklore Tapes label family and we at Them There Records also had the pleasure of working with Sam on the cultishly-adored bitter-sweet album of lofi homespun folk ballads ‘Flaming Liar’ written for harmonium. Which we hope Sam will bring with him for this show at Snapes

As always, Bolts brings an eclectic bag of tunes from across the spectrum to set the mood before & after the live acts
