How has becoming a mother changed the way you see yourself?
Becoming Mother - Portraits of Matrescence is a free Arts Council Funded, three-part Portrait Painting Workshop for Preston mothers, exploring the transformation of identity through motherhood.
Led by local portrait painter and art educator Sally Dyer you can expect -
Your portrait will contribute to Becoming Mother: Portraits of Matrescence and the resulting exhibition in Preston City Centre.
Please be aware this is a three part course running Sundays 10-12noon on October 11th, November 15th and February 7th. You will need to be able to attend all sessions when signing up.
If you are struggling for childcare children are very welcome to come along. The event is hosted inside Baby Sensory Preston, a space that caters to children ages 0-5years.
