Featuring:
Mario Bakuna on acoustic guitar and vocals
Roberto Manzin on saxophone
Mario Bakuna and Roberto Manzin invite the audience to celebrate two of the most influential artists of the 20th century: American singer Frank Sinatra and Brazilian composer, pianist and guitarist Antonio Carlos Jobim, in a tribute to their iconic collaboration and the legendary album Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Recorded in 1967, the album brought together Sinatra, one of the greatest voices in the history of popular music, and Jobim, one of the principal architects of bossa nova. Their meeting created a unique fusion of American jazz and Brazilian music, featuring timeless songs such as The Girl from Ipanema, Corcovado, Desafinado, Wave and Dindi.
In an evening filled with sophisticated harmonies, intimate melodies and the unmistakable spirit of bossa nova, this virtuoso duo will take the audience on a journey through one of the most elegant and enduring collaborations in the history of Brazilian and American music.
