This was the second year at Southsea Thai food and craft festival. We will be back next time.

Review of Southsea Thai Food and Craft Festival

The food choices was great but the prices was expensive, the atmosphere was good, not to sure to why you have to paid to get in for, I think it would of got alot more people in if it was free

My only regret is I ended up going alone, it really is a show for friends & family. There was so much more food I wanted to try. I will definitely be going again.

First time I have been with friends. We walked round overpriced stalls for 5 mins and walked out. £2.50 for bottle of water. You pay £6 for a ticket and not allowed to take your own good and drink in.

Lots of good tasty food choices from the stalls.  Average main £10, ver6 friendly staff.  Ither stalls selling goods and clothes and a massage place.  Very good arranged for people to see everything.  Activities throughout the day

Even did a bit of shopping for gifts and good to take home

Great food selection at decent prices, gazebos and seating dotted around the place, nice to have the mats near the stage area, lots of stalls - though the prices here were expensive. Plenty of toilets. Didn't have to queue long at all for anything. Wide selection of stage performances. Spent 8 hours here and had a great time.

Very few stalls to browse and buy things and the food vendors all sold the same thing with a few variations and why would you have a churro stall which is Spanish there. From what I have been told about earlier event here this one was definitely lacking.
The shows were good and the lady boys were the highlight of the day but the speakers were far too loud and would have been better to have a few more dotted around so that the ones on stage wouldn't have to be at such a volume. Even some of the acts were trying to keep clear of them due to the volume.

Stalls selling things you can't readily get anywhere else.
I've been the Thailand many times and being at this event was like returning there. !
The entertainment was top quality. !!!
Highly reccomended this event.!
