To celebrate its launch, Walkabout Plymouth – which opened last month following a half-a-million-pound investment – will be offering a taste of Australian hospitality to the people of Plymouth with a drink on the house. Cheers to that! All locals have to do to get their bevvie is find the Walkabout vending machine at Place de Brest on Thursday 22nd August and select one of the 315 pairs of flip flops inside. Bringing a touch of the Gold Coast to the city centre (and hopefully the weather, too!), the vending machine will be operating all day so that the guys and girls of Plymouth have no excuse not to head over. To claim their free drink, those lucky enough to get their hands on a pair of the coveted flip flops simply need to wear them to Walkabout in order to be rewarded with a free Tropical Rumball. Combining spiced rum, sugar free Red Bull Tropical and a squeeze of lime, this long, refreshing and fruity cocktail guarantees a little bit of sunshine – even if Plymouth doesn’t!
