The Main Auditorium This is an imposing space filled with light from a huge south facing picture window. The space is carpeted and there is a wood floored performance area in front of the huge picture window. Upstairs in the gallery there is a bar and seating space which overlooks the auditorium. Layout and seating are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs. We have tables and chairs, which can be arranged, in a variety of configurations. Seated in rows there is space for 120 people. Or, if you prefer, tables and chairs can be arranged cafe style to seat from 15 up to 60-70 people. We have disabled access and ground floor toilet facilities. The acoustics are excellent but we also have an induction loop for people with hearing problems. There is a kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities in the main auditorium. The Kelly Room This is situated on the lower ground floor, and is a smaller more intimate space with adjoining kitchen. This is used for a range of activities including education classes, meetings, exhibitions and receptions for weddings and other events using the whole building. The kitchen is fully fitted out for use by in house and outside caterers. Set up as a cafe, the Kelly room can seat 50 people. When the main auditorium is used as a wedding venue, the Kelly room provides an ideal location for the wedding reception. We can also assist in the provision of a range of catering options using outside caterers. The gallery bar is licensed and can be made available for events by arrangement. We are also licensed for live music and dance performances.
