RUDE(r) 24th October '26 Booker T + RUDE(r) Residents

The RUDE(r) crew are delighted to bring an absolute legend of the UK House & Garage scene to Rude(r) for our next party on Saturday October 24th.

Booker T cut his teeth playing Soul, Rare Groove and Hip Hop in his native South London back in the 80's. He was Inspired to start playing House Music after hearing the music of US legends Masters at Work, Todd Terry, and Tony Humphries and his debut House music set was played at Bobby & Steve's legendary Garage City night.

He quickly moved into production and signed to Azuli Records. His early trailblazing UK Garage House productions on Azuli were released under the Underground Mass moniker.

He also became the first British producer to release music on seminal US House label Strictly Rhythm.

Since those early releases he has been a sought after producer/ remixer and has sprinkled his uniquely British garage house vibe across innumerable tracks for the likes of A&M Records (AM:PM), Rhythm Source, Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Slip N Slide, Interstate Records, EMI and Universal to name but a few and can also claim production credits for luminaries such as Roger Sanchez, Eddy Perez, DJ Disciple, Lenny Fontana, DJ Romain, DJ Camacho, Faith Evans, Soul II Soul, Brand New Heavies, Quincy Jones, Sounds Of Blackness, Moloko, Byron Stingily, Jody Watley, Robert Owens, & Mood II Swing amongst many others.

We are absolutely stoked to have him bring his chunky, raw yet soulful & uplifting 4/4 House vibes to the Rude dancefloor this October.
