New Years Eve Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy brings a New Year's Eve Special night of laughter to the Cottage Hotel, Ruddington on Thursday December 31st.

Topping the bill is the unique and distinctive Paul Tonkinson who has been a special guest on Michael McIntyre's live UK tours, on his global arena tour playing to millions across the globe and on BBC's ‘Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow'. Known for his effervescent physicality and skilful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for quite a formidable talent.

Opening the night will be Christian Reilly who at the age of 15 joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both captivates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.

Completing the line-up is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity mixed with impressive musicianship that yields hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.

Compere for the night will be the clever and thought-provoking Anthony Williams.

Live music to see in 2027 from Duncan Oakley.
