Review of The Cell
Bouncer literally told me to f**k off because I told him my friend (who literally had 2 drinks and was sober) had dyspraxia and has it where he moves around, had bumped into the fence and it isn’t his fault. Bouncer told me he was a “drunk” so I got annoyed and he kicked me out yeh queue for sticking up for my mate who was stood helpless (he is shy because of his dyspraxia he doesn’t like arguing) and so we left. Manager was good and gave us a refund but bouncer was disgraceful, I’m going to try find him because my mate deserves an apology for this behaviour

Review of The Cell
WARNING: do not go here!!! BOUNCERS ATTACK YOUNG GIRLS.
I visited this venue once and it was such a traumatising experience. The racist bouncers did not let my boyfriend in for no reason at the door, despite us paying £11 each for a ticket, with our friends who had come all of the way to visit us. After asking the bouncers why my sober, polite boyfriend couldn’t enter, I was punched in the face by 2 bouncers. As a young female not causing any issues this was extremely shocking. I was left with a wonky tooth and they then smacked my male friend in the face for trying to help me. They then called the police and I was taken away. The police watched CCTV and admitted that the bouncers had assaulted, although nothing happened.
I have emailed the venue multiple times about this experience and to this day they have not replied. Please do not go here for your own safety - it’s ran by men who have a power trip and only enjoy their jobs because they feel it gives them the authority to treat customers like dirt on their shoe.
