Review of Mansfield Music Festival (Your ultimate family day out!)

Great festival. But should relax the rules in bringing own food as we would have liked to have brought a picnic. The food and drinks were way too over priced.  £3 for a can of pop is outrageous.

Scheduled artist didnt show. Disappointed child who was looking forward to seeing 
Pre booked car parking. And no charge on the day. When queried wasnt there problem
Small disappointments spoilt the day. 
Chartered for som**hing others recieved for free.

The fact we paid £78 for a family tick*t on the basis  that prices would increase on 28th July - then in fact the price went down to less than half the price I think this is disgusting, especially as we were not allowed to even take food for the kids - drinks I can understand but you was hardly going to miss out on a few quid for kids wanting snacks. I spent over £300 plus the £78 I paid for the tick*t. So do I think it was worth it ... no. The acts were ok and the atmosphere was good but you definitely need to think about the way you price the event or even think about allowing picnics next time. And certainly don't drop the price to infuriate the people who booked early and then felt they got ripped off. It was bad enough people who live in certain area were getting flyers through their doors and getting in for free!

Not value for money. I'll be putting it out there to others.

It was a lovely day great atmosphere plenty of food choices definitely go again

I attend festivals regularly and for a small town event this was very expensive.  I paid extra for a table 4 chairs , fast-track and toilets. The toilet was x1 in the rugby club, nobody monitored who was entering and fast-track was non-existent.  Music overall was good but abba were poor quality.  Food prices were ridiculous.

Fantastic event - well run, quality acts - loved it!

Very well organised and a fun family day out. Type of music not to my taste but were good. Would definitely go again
