Easily one of the most underrated bands on the scene right now, Downswing are an American metalcore band hailing from Albany, New York.
Formed in 2017, the band gained early traction after receiving social media backing from Vincent Bennett (The Acacia Strain) leading to a spot on the 2017 Vans Warped Tour.
Their latest album “And Everything Was Dark”, released in 2025, has been widely praised by critics and fans alike for its crushing grooves, massive melodic choruses and a refined modern metalcore evolution.
