About

Following a series of acclaimed events in Norwich, Stereo Sanctity returns to Voodoo Daddy's on Sunday 13th September with one of its most ambitious line-ups to date, with a double headline show featuring pioneering electronic duo Immersion, and experimental legends Pram, plus Norwich-based artist e.m.arson.

Conceived as a "mini festival in one night", Stereo Sanctity brings together a diverse programme of live acts alongside DJs exploring a broad sonic spectrum-from electronica to post-rock, shoegaze to folk, and everything in between. The only constant is a commitment to music that is challenging, engaging and forward-thinking.

Co-headlining the evening are Immersion, the long-running project of Colin Newman (Wire) and Malka Spigel (Minimal Compact). Emerging in the early 1990s, Immersion have carved out a unique space spanning ambient, techno, kosmische and experimental pop, consistently evolving through collaboration and reinvention. Their latest album WTF?? (2025) has been widely acclaimed, with MOJO praising the duo as "agile, reactive, expressive" and others describing them as "one of the great art rock bands of our time."

Joining them are Pram, the much-loved Birmingham outfit whose work since the late 1980s has drawn on exotica, krautrock, post-punk and cinematic soundtracks to create a singular, dreamlike musical world. Known for their use of unconventional instrumentation-including theremin, dulcimer and found sounds-their performances move fluidly between eerie atmospheres, playful experimentation and powerful intensity, continuing to push at the boundaries of form and texture.

Opening the night is Norwich-based artist e.m.arson (Emmally Parsons), a DIY experimental musician, DJ and sound artist known for creating haunting, genre-blurring soundscapes. Combining improvisation, guitar, synthesisers, field recordings and poetic narration, her work builds immersive and deeply personal sonic environments, as heard on her latest release The Pillbox.

As with previous editions, the night will also feature DJ sets running throughout, creating a fluid, immersive experience that moves seamlessly between live performance and curated sound.
