Review of Earlham Park
Music was the best part. All acts were great HOWEVER at one point there was no music on at the Garage tent due to an act not showing up.
The organisation was terrible and there was little communication from the organisers to customers. There toilet situation ruined the experience for most as there was maybe 10 toilets for the whole festival which wasnt enough. Most time was spent queueing for the toilet (upto an hour!). The bar queues were also abysmal and the bar ran out of alcohol a few hours in. The bar staff were very friendly however.
The concept was not really present either: it was just a field with tents and not much else. It wasn’t far off being someone’s birthday party. Was good that there was a seating area too
Security guards were fantastic: my friend lost her phone and the guard found her to return it!
Overall hugely disappointing: if it is able to run again more toilets are needed and more alcohol and or more bars. Shame because the idea is very cool but it was very much half-cooked

Review of Tales In The Park Norwich 2023
Overall this was a really good event, but bad organisation let it down. Poor upkeep of the entrance led to a lot of people (me included!) being bitten by horseflies at the entrance as the grass had not been mowed & they were hiding in there! We were meant to be let in at 12 but waiting for around 40 minutes before being let in. Most disappointingly there was only one bar for the majority of the event, and no food stalls were allowed to sell water which was ridiculous as at one point the queue for the single bar must have been at least 30 minutes long. It’s a shame because the music is great, there is a wide variety of options for all people to listen to but a bit more thought needs to be put into some of the above!

Review of Tales In The Park Norwich 2023
Need more bars and toilets being made to wait an hr for a drink is ridiculous and the event knows how many tickets it’s sold get a reasonable amount of toilets for the tickets sold absolute joke.
The bars ran out of all alcohol other than jäger and red bull by 7 again you know how many tickets are sold and still can’t stock accordingly even tho overpriced.
Not really seeing a tales theme other than a few books.
Couldn’t even be bothered to cut long grass.
Drum and bass tent was best one although was too much of the exact same thing need to mix it up more.
Shambles.
