Journey 002: MANCHESTER

From Liverpool to Manchester. From Cream to the city that helped change British club culture forever.

Before the superclubs, before dance music became a global phenomenon, there was Manchester. A city where acid house, underground sounds and a new generation of clubbers came together to create something that would change nightlife forever.

At the heart of it all was one of the most influential clubs in dance music history. A place that became a movement, defined an era and helped shape the sound of a generation.

For Journey 002, ONE MORE takes you back to those extraordinary years. The records, the atmosphere, the people and the music that made Manchester legendary.

And who better to tell that story than someone who was there from the beginning, an electronic music producer and pioneer of the UK house music scene, widely regarded as one of the most influential and singular resident DJ's of Manchester's legendary nightclub, The Hacienda.

With a career spanning four decades, this legend helped shape the sonic blueprint of the acid house explosion. Nearly 40 years on and the legendary "HOT" nights he co-founded are still talked about as some of the most defining moments in British electronic music.

JOURNEY 002 ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON.
