Christmas at Silverstone will transform the home of the British Grand Prix into a spectacular festive wonderland from Friday 11 December until Thursday 31 December.

This year’s celebration will bring together exhilarating motorsport experiences, immersive family entertainment, live music, festive food and drink, and the unmistakable magic of Silverstone.

Lap of Lights.

At the heart of the event is Lap of Lights, the only festive experience in the world where visitors can drive an iconic Formula 1 circuit after dark. It’s Christmas lights reimagined: visitors take their own car onto an actual F1 circuitafter dark, as famous corners and straights are transformed into a blazing light spectacular. Picture Copse Corner lit up like nothing you've seen before, laser beams slicing the night sky, and visitors — snug in their cars— soaking it all in. This isn’t just a lights display; it's a light show you drive through. Buckle up – Silverstone has gone full Christmas.

Ice Trak.

This summer, this exact spot was home to Lando Norris's car during the British Grand Prix. Now? Same garage, totally different vibe. It’s time to swap race boots for skate blades and step onto ice like nowhere else on Earth — because nowhere else has a rink overlooking an F1 start/finish line. Skate where champions have stood, glide beside the grid and soak up the festive spirit at the most famous race circuit in the world. 

Santa’s Garage.

Santa has seen his fair share of grottos over the years - a cave here, a shopping centre there - but never one quite like this, set right in the heart of the F1 garages where world champions have popped the champagne and celebrated with their teams. This year, it's the sleigh's turn for the pit lane treatment: a full pitstop, elf mechanics on the crew, giving Rudolph's ride the once-over to make sure it's race-ready for Christmas Eve. And guess who's on the pit crew? The kids -  Future Elf Engineers, reporting for duty. And at the chequered flag, Santa will be waiting to greet each young Elf Engineer with a memento of their experience.

The fun doesn’t stop there: curling inside the F1 garages, lapping the circuit on a Silverstone simulator, a up-close look at a jaw dropping selection of F1 cars, supercars and MotoGP bikes, plus, of course, festive food and drink. It’s not just another Christmas experience; it’s Christmas reimagined at the most magical place to spend the festive season.

Kart Silverstone will be open throughout Christmas at Silverstone, giving visitors the chance to make even more of their day, putting their driving skills to the test -  an exhilarating experience for aspiring racers and motorsport fans of all ages.

From driving the Formula 1 circuit beneath thousands of lights to skating through the pit garages, to becoming an Elf Engineer in Santa’s Garage, Christmas at Silverstone creates memories that last long after the festive season has ended.
