As usual enjoyable and relaxing. First time at Christmas do. Different more sedate atmosphere to say a Hootchie Goochie gig but still enjoyable. The girls had great harmonies and a pleasure to listen too. Should incorporate them into more gigs doing swing numbers. Thanks for a good night Kevin

The microphone didn't work during Alice Grace's first song.
Otherwise a great night.

Poor sound , couldn't hear singer to start with, seemed to take a long time to sort.
Scaffold construction seating area wobbly,didn't feel safe.
Music wasn't especially Christmassy until the end.
Audience comings and goings distracted the performance , drinks waiters coming and going people allowed in and out constantly.
Alarmed at how a family with a disabled man were allocated horrendous "afterthought" seats by side of unsused scaffold and by exit door to bar.
Whole event seemed badly organised.
Scarlett Street saved the night for me, they were great.
I would not return to this venue .

For the Strictly-Smokin' band - in the words of Craig Revel Hallwood -----FAB_UU_LUS!!
Far and away the best band in the area, superb arrangements and excellent individual musicians, the Girls 'Scarlet Street' helped make this a wonderful start to the festive season.
More soon please.

p.s. the beer was the best I have had in a long time.

Excellent in every way a great night

Review of Preggers

Absorbing mix of the confessional and quasi-documentary. The pregnancy-miscarriage theme struck a chord with some , and there were tears. The alcohol at the end was great although I wondered whether gin, with it's reputation for 'mother's ruin' and older nefarious usage was the happiest drink to offer.

'Preggers' was very enjoyable, sad, touching, funny. Gosforth Civic atheatre is a great new venue, friendly, lovely atmosphere.
