Newbury Audio Tour: Churches, History, and Hideaways Tour

Explore Newbury at your own pace

A cannon once thundered across Newbury's quiet lanes, leaving secrets buried beneath centuries of cobblestone. Beneath the everyday bustle, an older city thrums with vanished battles, royal intrigue, and whispers from graveyard shadows.

This self-guided audio tour transforms your walk into a search for stories hidden just out of sight. Each step brings you closer to mysteries most never notice.

Why did an angry mob besiege St Nicolas Church with nothing but torches and desperate hope? What lost message lingers in the silent heart of Victoria Park after dark? Could an unmarked stone at the town center reveal the truth behind a noble's spectacular downfall?
