Heselrig - Scottish Creator Festival

The festival will feature a car show, an influencer Q&A panel, and live music. We will run the event next summer near Lanark (an hours train ride or drive from Glasgow/Edinburgh).

Transport and Accommodation

You can either get the Train to Lanark or drive to Lanark Agricultural Events Centre. Parking is available at the festival. There will be a shuttle bus running from Lanark Train Station to the festival grounds.

There is camping available. You are also able to go home. There will be no performances on the Sunday.

Indicative schedule

• 1pm - Gates open, arrivals begin
• 3pm - Car show and small band
• 5pm - Q&A panel with influencers
• 7pm - Headline band
• 9pm - DJ

Aims

This event strives to bring hundreds of likeminded people together in celebration rather than in protest. The idea for this event came about when we gathered a group of influencers into one room. We had invited them more on their personality (choosing people that would get along) than on their following. After realising how well it worked we decided to organise an event where the followers of those people can take part. I spoke to Scotty and Mungo at the end of the event. They said to me "If we do this again it will have to be a big piss up with the fans. We should do it outside."

Why the 10th of July

We chose a date where it hits the peak of summer, when energy is high. Also there is conveniently an event in Glasgow at this time which is a magnet for 'undesirable' people. If trnsmt festival is spandex, this festival is a little more tweed. Come to Heselrig for a good time with no numpties.
