The Arcadia Music Cafe, together with Six O One Gig Promotions are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome an exciting and fresh fast rising young rock band, Mouth Ulcers, to Biggar.

London newcomers Mouth Ulcers represent a new generation of dark post-punk (The Cure, Bauhaus, Twin Tribes), reshaping the genre into something urgent, youthful and intoxicating, Mouth Ulcers’ atmospheric guitars, tribal percussion and cavernous baritone vocals provide a sound described as ‘music for vampires to dance to’ - moody physical and irresistibly cool. Drawing from classic post-punk darkness while injecting fresh energy, the quartet stand alongside emerging acts redefining the underground. Their music feels immediate and alive, balancing menace with momentum and atmosphere with drive, Having this year debuted with sell-outs shows in UK and the Netherlands, followed by summer festival appearances, they are now undertaking live dates in UK and Europe.

Mouth Ulcers released their debut seven track EP Silent Pictures on LAB records to critical acclaim.

IMPORTANT: This gig is to take place at Biggar Golf Club, who have kindly made their facility available to us.

There is plenty parking on site. PLEASE note that this is principally a standing gig, there will be some seats available at the side these are first come first served.
