Milton Keynes' only drum festival returns; A celebration of drums with 2026's focus on collaboration, featuring local drum companies delivering demo's and workshops throughout the day.
About the DC
Founded by Joel Andrew Blunden, the drum cupboard is a drum school, drum hire and drum events company focused around three core values - inclusion, opportunity & community.
What to expect
A whole day dedicated to a celebration of drums, not only for the Drum Cupboard alumni, but the Milton Keynes (and surrounding) drum community too.
Education & learning, networking & collaboration, student & tutor performances, hands on demos & workshops, drumaoke & jams, chats & hangs, stalls, giveaways & raffle prizes.
Student Showcase
A chance for DC student base to get up on a stage and perform in front of their family, friends and peers! Good vibes all round!
Drum Clinic
A mini drum clinic focussed on education and learning with Olly Sakar Sammuels (Pucpad, Canopus Drums, Vicfirth, Zildjian), Salvo Elia (Drum Cupboard) & Toby Collins (Drum Cupboard), plus a group performance from the DC tutors.
Exhibitors/Demos/Workshops
RJR Drums
RJR drums specialise in everything you need to upgrade and customise your drums. They fit and supply classic and custom drum wraps, cut bearing edges, refurbish and repair, and build bespoke drums to your specification. They'll be leading a hands on demo on drum wrapping and donating some super cool items to the raffle!
Bonham Drumheads
Since launching in 2025, Bonham Drumheads has built a reputation for offering reliable, drummer-focused products at accessible prices. Their range of products are "designed by drummers, for drummers". Bonham are attending the event, showcasing their products and donating some super cool prizes to the giveaways and raffle. Their artist rooster and product range is ever expanding, so go and have a chat with them!
Ashmore Cymbals
Ryan Ashmore is one of only three practising cymbal smiths in the UK. Based
in Northamptonshire and founded in 2023 with a simple aim, to create cymbals with a uniquely recognisable sound.
Ryan will be exhibiting, demoing and selling at the DC Takeover. Visitors will have the chance to play the full Ashmore range hands-on - crashes, rides, Clapstacks, hi-hats and chinas - and speak directly with the man who made them.
Pucpads
The PucPad is an innovative practice tool designed to help drummers perfect their craft. It is made from 100% recycled and repurposed materials, making it a sustainable and eco-friendly option. The PucPad is the perfect practice tool for drummers of all levels, allowing them to practice and perfect their skills at home or on the go. Olly, designer and owner, will be leading some pad workshops with guests being in for a chance to win their very own PucPad!
Raffle & Giveaways
Giveaways apply to anyone that has preordered their tickets online. The number of entries is based on the number of tickets purchased. Giveaways will be given out throughout the day so listen up for your name being called out!
Raffle tickets are available to purchase at the event only. The raffle will be drawn towards the end of the day.
PLUS
Drumaoke & jams. At the end of the day, drummers can sign up to play some songs WITH a live band! Set list (and band) TBA.
What to bring
Bring some sticks if you'd like to play and ear defenders either way. It will be a fairly loud day! Free foam ear plugs will be given out on the door.
