The Battery Farm, Magua & The Pterodactyls
Music Genres
The Battery Farm are a Doom Punk four-piece from Manchester whose sound is equal parts pulverising and introspective. Formed in Manchester in 2019, The Battery Farm combine intelligent, thoughtful lyrics with a sound that is claustrophobic, kinetic, heavy and powerfully singular, with influences ranging from Post-Punk and Goth to Industrial and Glam.
Their 2nd album Dark Web was released to acclaim in 2024, followed then by their biggest UK/EU tour to date, which solidified their cult hero status. As a live band they are relentless, captivating and ferocious, with Louder Than War calling them 'terrifying and unforgettable'. They have continually been cited as one of the most exciting live bands in the region.
Magua – one-man band from Kyiv, Ukraine. Magua’s music is a mix of big beat, breakbeat, punk, electronic, hardcore punk, grunge, folk and funk among other styles. Harmonica, voice, drum machine and bass guitar combine to create a contrast of raw, loud sound with soft, melancholic tones.
From the North East of England, The Pterodactyls craft original alternative rock with a strong Americana influence. Blending melody, dynamics and powerful guitar-driven arrangements, they’re building a reputation for energetic live performances and memorable songs.
