NucleusFest at Fort Borstal

Step inside one of Kent's most extraordinary hidden gems for a day where history meets house music. Fort Borstal, a remarkable Victorian fortification built by convict labour in 1875 to guard the high ground above Rochester, throws open its gates for NucleusFest, brought to you by Nucleus Winery in a celebration of soul, house and dance music set against 50 acres of historic grounds, underground tunnels and Napoleonic pathways.

Grounds open from midday, giving you time to explore this incredible scheduled monument before the music takes over. From 3pm, the sounds begin, headlined by the legendary Artful Dodger, with a very special personal appearance from Living Joy. Keeping the dancefloor moving all day is a stellar lineup of DJs: Tenacious | Odyssey Inc | Jenny Bean | Dan Daly | DJ Dean Lambert | Mr & Mrs House.

Room Two is home to Kent Soul Nights, curated by the brilliant DJ Addil, a soulful sanctuary for those who like it deep and smooth.
