Carl Cox Live at Dreamland Margate

Sunday 2nd May 2027 | Bank Holiday Weekend

Dance music pioneer and global techno ambassador Carl Cox heads to the Kent coast for a headline performance at Dreamland Margate on Sunday 2nd May 2027.

Operating since 1920 as one of Britain's oldest surviving amusement parks, Dreamland combines vintage seaside heritage with a major south coast live music space. Set against the park's retro backdrop, the venue hosts this Bank Holiday showcase featuring one of the most influential figures in electronic music history.

A veteran of the UK acid house movement and a foundational artist of British rave culture, Carl Cox has spent over four decades at the forefront of the international circuit:

• Dance Music Pioneer: Emerged from the 1980s UK scene, establishing his reputation for multi-deck mixing before releasing seminal tracks including "I Want You" and the benchmark 1995 mix album F.A.C.T.

• Ibiza Legacy: Led an unbroken 15-year residency at Space Ibiza until 2016, building one of the most celebrated residencies in club history.

• Label & Live Head: Founder of Intec Digital and co-founder of Awesome Soundwave, continuing to headline worldwide festivals and events including Ultra's Resistance, Glastonbury, Babylon, and Burning Man.

This headline Bank Holiday event delivers a definitive open-air techno and house set at Margate's landmark coastal venue.
