Digging for Kanky launch their debut album, Raining Stones, with a special live show at The Yard, Manchester.
Named after Ken Loach's iconic film, Raining Stones is a 15-track album rooted in northern life, combining spoken word, alternative hip hop, trip hop and electronic influences into a dark, cinematic live show.
To celebrate the release, Digging for Kanky will perform material from the album live, with Raining Stones officially released at 12:00am on 20 November as the night comes to a close.
Support comes from Manchester drum & bass and dubstep producer Cartridge, alongside Manchester MC Charlie Boy Manson, making for a full evening of original music from three distinctive Manchester artists.
