Elegia's moving feast for EBM and darkwave fiends host Parade Ground, legendary pioneers of '80s Belgian cold wave, whose anthem 'Gold Rush' has been played at every Elegia thus far.
During the mid-late '80s Parade Ground issued a classic run of LPs + EPs produced by Front 242, effectively making them Patrick Codenys and co.'s more pop-wise, dadaist sibling unit. More recently Dark Entries' reissues and comps have reaffirmed Parade Ground's pioneering status for EBM veterans and wavey youngbloods snagged on their sharp rhythms and ohrwurm hooks.
Elegia are made up to bring the influential Belgian brothers to The White Hotel for the band’s only UK show in their 45th anniversary year, with DJ support by EBM mistress faux naïf, Impiety Hour’s Anna Gray, and The Death of Rave’s Conor Thomas.
