About

Manchester Refugee Support Network invites you to a night of music, movement, and collective solidarity. On 12th June, we take over the Carlton Club for a powerful evening bringing together artists, DJs, and community in support of refugees and people seeking asylum across Greater Manchester. At a time when vital services are under threat, this event raises essential funds to help sustain MRSN’s asylum support work.

The lineup brings together a rich mix of local and international sounds. Levi Love, a cornerstone of Manchester’s dance music scene, brings his infectious energy and multi genre tastes. Originally from Johannesburg and now a long-time resident, he’s known as both a prolific producer and the driving force behind the Mas O Menos imprint, as well as his deep commitment to uplifting others in the scene.

Kusasa, a South African-British DJ, delivers genre-spanning sets rooted in percussive, dubby and soulful sounds. A core member of SISU Crew and co-founder of Shapes, she is as much a cultural organiser as a selector, with appearances at The White Hotel, We Out Here and Tate Lates, and broadcasts across Rinse FM, NTS and beyond.

Chafik, a Tunisian DJ based in Manchester, explores avant-garde sonic territories while weaving in homage to his North African roots, creating textured and exploratory dancefloor journeys.

Liverpool-based producer and DJ Matica (Matt McNamara) blends a lifetime of musical influence — from jazz and broken beat to house and global rhythms.

The night also features a live performance from the incredible Hamsaz Ensemble, blending traditional and contemporary Iranian sounds.

We also have an interactive live dance workshop led by Dance Out Percussion, inviting collective movement and expression - families welcome!

All proceeds go directly towards Manchester Refugee Support Network’s asylum support service, which is an essential service in Manchester for those seeking asylum.
