Live From The Grill 2026: Manchester's Biggest Rooftop Cookout
Live From The Grill is taking over the rooftop of Depot Mayfieldfor Manchester's biggest rooftop cookout: bringing together Michelin-starred chefs, leading pitmasters and some of the most respected fire-led kitchens alongside live music, DJs and special edition merch drops - all high above the city!
Expect award-winning Argentine live-fire cooking from 1415 Asado, low-and-slow barbecue from third-generation Texan pitmaster Pappy's Texas BBQ, Michelin-starred cooking from Alchemilla, and £5 cheeseburgers from one of Manchester's best fire-obsessed kitchens, Stow.
Café Continental will be bringing flame-grilled chicken thighs and giant wild Atlantic tiger prawns, Kallos are bringing charcoal-grilled lamb souvlaki and Greek café culture from Salford, and Knight's BBQ are bringing Caribbean heritage recipes from Hulme.
Every food vendor will have a £5 dish and a £15 dish - so you can either work your way around the roof trying a bit of everything, or go straight in on the bigger plates, you know you want.
The weekend is split into four sessions, each with its own music lineup. Habitat curate Saturday daytime, headlined by MJ Cole - one of the defining names in UK garage. Renae take over Saturday evening with DJs from the venue's extended circle, led by Manchester favourite Ruf Dug. On Sunday, Band on the Wall curate both sessions, with Children of Zeus - one of Manchester's most respected soul and hip-hop acts - headlining across the day and evening.
There'll also be limited merch collaborations created specially for the festival, bringing local brands together with food names from the lineup. Think Clints x Café Continental, Bound x Stow, plus drops from Permanent Orbit and Hikerdelic- one-off pieces made around the food, the people and the culture of the weekend.
