A spectacular afternoon of modern swing, big energy and unforgettable live music.

Following the release of his brand-new LIVE album on 25th September, Sheffield-born vocalist Paul Pashley brings Swings A 21st Century Thing to Manchester for a very special album launch performance with his punchy 5-piece ensemble inc musical director Adrian Wilkinson ( Honorary citizen of New Orleans for his playing, Syd Laurence, Glen Miller and more.. )

Expect a fresh, sophisticated and energetic twist on some of the biggest songs of recent decades — from Pulp’s “Disco 2000”, Tones and I, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish, to timeless favourites including “Pure Imagination” and “LOVE” — all reimagined with the groove, elegance and attitude of cool swing.  

Known for his charismatic performances and powerhouse vocals, Pashley has entertained audiences across the world, from exclusive private events to the stage of Manchester’s AO Arena, where he performed in front of over 20,000 people in June celebrating the life of one of Manchester’s favourite sons, Ricky Hatton.

This very special afternoon will also mark the official Manchester launch of Swings A 21st Century Thing, with limited edition LIVE Big Band artwork copies available to purchase on the afternoon — including exclusive vinyl and CD releases.

The show a firm celebration of musicianship, creativity and keeping the soul in REAL music — capturing the atmosphere, energy and human connection that can only happen when talented musicians share a stage.

From swing classics to modern-day anthems, this is an afternoon for everyone, bringing generations together through songs old and new. • VIP Stage-Side Seating; best view of the stage - £10 per person
• Entrance-Side Seating; restricted view of stage - £7 per person
• Standing; in the bar area - £5 per person
