Sentient Robot - Auto Human EP launch - with Tom Hingley
Music Genres
"Sentient Robot have always explored the strange relationship between humanity and technology and their blend of retro-inspired indie pop with modern electronic flourishes continues to reflect that identity. Influences such as Talking Heads, LCD Soundsystem and David Bowie can certainly be felt throughout but the band never sound like they're simply copying their heroes." Reyt Good Magazine
'Sentient Robot' is a 5 piece band from Manchester (UK). Sentient Robot blends Indie Synth pop, blending 80's inspired and updated synth sounds often tilting into alt Indie Rock. drawing on influences such as David Bowie, Talking Heads, LCD Sound System and War on Drugs. Rhythmic grooves, irresistible hooks, glockenspiels, sweet sweet saxophone and O'Brien's sometimes haunting, sometimes soaring, sometimes playful vocal melodies and rich lyrics.
