About

Full Circle hands the Joshua Brooks basement to Lee Foss for a day party, 4pm til 10pm, with resident Lily C-D alongside him. For a night built on the deep house era, this is about as fitting a booking as it gets.

Lee Foss came up out of Chicago, raised on the city's house and rave heritage before a 2001 trip to Ibiza put him in the orbit of Jamie Jones. The two founded Hot Creations together in 2010, and the label went on to shape a whole era of house music: deep, warm, hypnotic, unmistakably built for a floor. It launched the careers of Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed and wAFF, and was named Record Label of the Year at the DJ Awards in 2019.

Around the same time he was one quarter of Hot Natured, alongside Jamie Jones, Ali Love and Luca C. Their 2013 album Different Sides of the Sun and the single Reverse Skydiving, featuring Anabel Englund, carried that sound from the basements onto stages like Glastonbury and Sónar. His Hot Creations cut Electricity, made with MK and Anabel Englund, is still one of the defining vocal house records of the period.

Since then he has run Repopulate Mars, the label he founded in 2016 that gave early platforms to John Summit, Mau P, Michael Bibi and Joshwa. He has stayed busy with it too: a return to Hot Creations in 2025 for the label's fifteenth anniversary, the Matter Of Time EP late that year, and a tenth birthday run for Repopulate Mars across 2026. More than fifteen years in, with a long-standing residency at Jamie Jones' Paradise in Ibiza behind him, he remains one of the most respected names of his generation.

For Full Circle he is doing something specific. This is a special deep house set, taking him back towards the slower, deeper, more soulful end of things, the sound he helped build in the first place. Make House Deep Again, in the hands of someone who did it the first time round.

Full Circle resident Lily C-D opens the room and holds it through the afternoon, setting the tone for the deeper material to come.

Joshua Brooks suits all of this. The Princess Street basement is a low, intimate room under bricked arches, with a Void Acoustics system that rewards exactly this kind of music: deep low end, room to breathe, nothing lost. Daylight outside, deep house under the bricks.

See you at the front.
