Day Time Disco takes the basement.
Joshua Brooks reopens this weekend after a full rebuild, and we get the room first. Saturday afternoon, from 4pm, the basement is ours until 10pm, when the night takes over.
Disco. Classic house. Vocals. The records that still work at four in the afternoon, played properly, on the new Void Acoustics rig.
There is a very special guest. Forty years of records behind him, a name you would know, and we are not announcing it. Do not ask him for a song either. You will find out when you walk in.
The room has been rebuilt from the floor up. New rig, new bar, new everything except the arches, which are the ones the Chemical Brothers held their first residency under in 1993.
Free entry before 6pm, limited and first come. After that it is £5 in advance, more on the door.
Over 18s only, bring ID.
