Over the last decade, Jim has built a devoted following online and on stage: as the go-to guy for comedy football songs and sketches online, the host of the multi-award nominated Crystal Palace-centric FYP Podcast the face of JOE.co.uk’s Football Friday Live and a staple at major festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe and Brighton Fringe.

Fans have been asking it for years and now, with Match Of The Daly, Jim brings all his trademark family-friendly energy, witting charm, quick gags and funny football songs to stages across the country.

Jim Daly is a critically-acclaimed standup comedian, presenter and actor from London. he has been performing standup comedy since 2012 and creating online content since 2011, where he has built up a large online following of 360,000+ followers and 200 million views across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

In 2022 his debut Edinburgh Fringe show - Jim Daly: Football And Fatherhood - was awarded ⭐⭐⭐⭐ by Edinburgh institution Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of The Fringe and chosen to perform at the Pleasance as part of the POTF showcase. Prior to that he took two other shows previously to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - That Silly Show with Miranda Dawe in 2015 and Jim And Dave Have Lost The Dressing Room with Dave Bibby in 2019 .He was a also Fosters Golden Jester semi-finalist in 2013 and 2014 and a Musical Comedy Awards quarter-finalist in 2022.

As a club comic, Jim has performed comedy around the UK and appeared on lineups alongside acts like Jon Richardson, Doc Brown, Holly Walsh, Reginald D Hunter Seann Walsh and loads more. 

On TV, Jim was was one of the in house comedians on Yahoo Sport’s The Football's Show for the 2018/19 season having starred in Yahoo’s 2018 World Cup show; The 32.and has worked as a presenter for JOE.co.uk in their live show Football Friday Live in 2016. He has also appeared as a guest on BT Sport, BBC Radio 5live, TalkSPORT, Planet Football, One Football and more.

He has written comedy for legendary London sketch show News Revue (and had songs selected for their Edinburgh Fringe showcase) and was resident comedy song writer and performer at the award winning The Football Special in 2013 and 2014.

In podcasts, he currently hosts the multi award-nominated Crystal Palace FC themed FYP Podcast and the newly launched Beyond The Sport Podcast with co-host Kenzie Benali, interviewing some of the most successful athletes of all time.
