Stockwood Living History Festival

For one special weekend, meet knights, soldiers, storytellers and skilled craftspeople as they recreate life from different periods of history. Explore historic encampments, discover forgotten skills, hear stories from the past and experience history in a way you can see, hear and interact with.

From Roman soldiers and mediaeval knights to Tudor royalty, Victorian life and First World War stories, there is something to discover around every corner.

Across the weekend, you can expect:

• Demonstrations of historic skills and crafts
• Character performances and storytelling
• Music from centuries past

Roman soldiers - Henry VIII and Queen Anne Boleyn - Medieval knights - Georgian coffee house characters - Queen Victoria and Prince Albert - Napoleonic soldiers - First World War stories and more.

Ticketed event:For this special weekend, entry to Stockwood Discovery Centre will require a ticket. Your ticket includes access to immersive living history, demonstrations and activities.
