John Proctor Is The Villain

About John Proctor is the Villain

John Proctor is the Villain comes to Wyndham's Theatre from February 2027 for a strictly limited 12-week season. Following a sold-out run at the Royal Court, Kimberly Belflower’s play transfers to the West End under the direction of Tony Award-winner Danya Taymor.

Set in a small town, the play follows five young women as a soundtrack of pop, adrenaline and barely contained rage gives way to questions about what is happening around them. As long-buried truths rise to the surface, the story explores girlhood, power and the courage to question what we think we know.

The production received a five-star review from the Financial Times, which called it “joyous, blazingly intelligent”.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes with no interval.
