Hay Fever is a new production of Noël Coward’s comedy, with Christine Baranski making her West End debut as Judith Bliss alongside Richard E. Grant. Directed by Emily Burns, it follows the Bliss family at their country home after Judith has retired from life on stage, only to find that family life is no less dramatic.
Judith invites a young fan for the weekend, but each member of the family has also arranged a guest of their own. With everyone ill-suited to hosting and unwilling to compromise, the house quickly turns into a tangle of parlour games, put-downs and unrequested encores.
Duration: 2 hours including the interval
27 October: trailer filming will take place at this performance. 16 November and 19 November: this performance will be filmed. Latecomers will not be admitted on these dates. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
