About Hay Fever
Hay Fever is a new production of Noël Coward’s comedy, directed by Emily Burns. Christine Baranski makes her West End debut as Judith Bliss, alongside Academy Award-nominated stage and screen actor Richard E. Grant.
The story follows Judith, who has retired from life on stage but misses the applause. At the Blisses’ country home, her husband David and their children Sorrel and Simon are too self-involved to provide a proper audience, so Judith invites a young fan to stay for the weekend.
With each member of the family having their own guest arriving at the same time, the house quickly tips into a weekend of parlour games, put-downs and unrequested encores.
Duration: 2 hours including the interval.
Before you book
On 27 October, trailer filming will take place at the performance. On 16 November and 19 November, the performance will be filmed. Latecomers will not be admitted on these dates.
