Hay Fever is Noël Coward’s comedy, with Christine Baranski making her West End debut as Judith Bliss, alongside Richard E. Grant. Directed by Emily Burns, it follows the Bliss family at their country home, where Judith is already missing the applause after retiring from life on stage.
When each member of the family secretly invites a guest for the weekend, the household quickly slips into chaos. With no one suited to hosting and no appetite for compromise, the visit turns into a swirl of parlour games, put-downs and unexpected clashes.
The production brings together an award-winning lead and a familiar Coward play about family, guests and social awkwardness, making it a clear choice for audiences looking for a character-driven comedy with strong performances at its centre.
Running time: 2 hours including the interval.
Latecomers will not be admitted to the performance on 27 October, when trailer filming will take place, and to the performances on 16 November and 19 November, which will be filmed.
No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
