About Hay Fever

Hay Fever is a new production of Noël Coward’s comedy centred on Judith Bliss, who has retired from life on stage but still misses the applause.

At the Blisses’ country home, her husband David and children Sorrel and Simon are too self-involved to provide the audience she wants, so Judith invites a young fan to stay for the weekend.

What follows is a clash of guests and egos, as each member of the family has someone arriving at the same time and the house tips into parlour games, put-downs and unrequested encores.

Emmy, two-time Tony, Screen Actors Guild and Drama Desk winner Christine Baranski makes her West End debut as Judith Bliss, alongside Academy Award nominated Richard E. Grant. The production is directed by Emily Burns.
