Christmas Carol Goes Wrong

About Christmas Carol Goes Wrong

Christmas Carol Goes Wrong returns to the West End following a sold-out run at London’s Apollo Theatre. From Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, it takes a familiar festive story and turns it into a comic disaster centred on the Cornley crew.

The production follows miscommunication, delays to the set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead. It is a Dickensian take on Ebenezer Scrooge, with the Cornley team trying to keep the show on track as everything starts to go wrong around them.

Described as “a Dickensian disaster to savour” and “an irresistible Christmas treat”, it offers a festive piece of comedy built around the worst production in Christmas past, present and yet to come.
