Christmas Carol Goes Wrong returns to the West End after a sold-out run at London’s Apollo Theatre. From Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, it offers a comic take on Dickens’ festive tale of Ebenezer Scrooge.

The Cornley crew face miscommunication, delays to their set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead. The result is a disastrous version of A Christmas Carol that places the classic story in the hands of a production team intent on keeping everything going, however badly things unravel.

It has been described as “a Dickensian disaster to savour” by the Guardian and an “irresistible Christmas treat” by WhatsOnStage.

Before you book

Suitable for ages 8 and over. The production contains moderately bad language, some sexual references and innuendo, and depictions of violence for comedic effect. There is also a moment in Act 2 with audience interaction.
