Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is a West End comedy from Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery. It returned to the West End following a sold-out run at London’s Apollo Theatre.
The show follows the Cornley crew as miscommunication, delays to the set, missing actors and a feud over who should play the lead bring their version of Ebenezer Scrooge’s story to the brink of collapse. It is a comic take on the much-loved Christmas classic, with the production’s mishaps driving the action.
This festive show is presented as a play within a play, with the Cornley company attempting to stage a Dickensian Christmas story while everything seems to go wrong around them.
