Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is a festive comedy from Mischief. It follows the Cornley crew as they attempt to stage the much-loved Christmas story of Ebenezer Scrooge.
Miscommunication, delays to the set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead all disrupt the production. The result is a chaotic take on a familiar Christmas classic, with the mishaps unfolding on stage as the story is being told.
The show has returned to the West End following a sold-out run at London’s Apollo Theatre. It has been described by the Guardian as “a Dickensian disaster to savour” and by WhatsOnStage as “an irresistible Christmas treat”.
Produced by Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.
Suitable for ages 8 years and older. The production contains moderately bad language, some sexual references and innuendo, and depictions of violence for comedic effect. There is audience interaction in act 2.
