Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is a comic stage show from Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery. It takes Dickens’s Christmas story of Ebenezer Scrooge and follows the Cornley crew as they try to bring it to the stage.

The production centres on miscommunication, delays to the set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead. The result is a chaotic version of a familiar festive story, with mishaps on and off stage.

The Guardian called it “a Dickensian disaster to savour”, while WhatsOnStage described it as “an irresistible Christmas treat”.

Key facts: Christmas Carol Goes Wrong returned to the West End following a sold-out run at London’s Apollo Theatre.
