Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is returning to the West End after a sold out run at London’s Apollo Theatre. From Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, it reworks Charles Dickens’s Christmas story through the chaotic Cornley crew.
The show follows miscommunication, delays to the set, missing actors and a growing feud over who will play Ebenezer Scrooge. The result is a comic version of the familiar festive tale, with the production itself becoming the centre of the action.
Key facts: Suitable for ages 8 years and older. The production contains moderately bad language, some sexual references and innuendo, depictions of violence for comedic effect, and a moment of audience interaction in Act 2.
