About Hamilton

Hamilton is a musical about Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the foundations of the United States.

The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway. Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.

The production is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.

Before you book

Hamilton contains some strong language and is suitable for ages 10+. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder aged 18 or over, and children under 3 will not be admitted.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break, and admission is not guaranteed. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Leslie Odom, Jr. will not appear at performances on 27 to 29 July.
